"A big place that can accommodate 21 tables (10 person per table). Great for weddings or events. Dishes started serving after 29mins post ordering. Taste wise: very flavourful, fish is fresh, vegetables not oily, but to some the flavours might be too strong. Staff were fairly proactive in refilling the tea."

"Our usual place to dine in when we came back to Kuantan. We had a wonderful dining experience at Golden Empire Palace Restaurant! The ambiance was elegant and perfect for family gatherings, especially during Chinese New Year. The dishes were beautifully presented and full of authentic flavors. The Yee Sang was fresh and vibrant, the fish maw soup was rich and flavorful, and the soy ginger fish was cooked to perfection. Service was excellent—staff were attentive, friendly, and ensured everything was well taken care of. The festive decorations added a special touch to the atmosphere. Overall, a fantastic place for a celebration or a delicious Chinese banquet. Highly recommended!"
